Blessings and welcome to the Uttara Yoga Teacher Training 2019-2020 program.
We are excited to launch this journey of growth, empowerment and spiritual initiation. What the world needs right now is for YOU to become strong in body and mind; for YOU to help to create inner peace and therefore outer peace; the world needs YOU to Live, to Learn, and to Grow.

To confirm your enrollment, please make your program deposit. If you would like to pay for the entire program along with the deposit you may do so. If you would like assistance with a payment plan, please make the deposit and then contact Jill for more information.
Preparing for the first class
Each and every weekend will be a mix of lecture, discussion, demo and practice; we will be sitting a LOT; so if you want to bring something to be able to sit comfortably, please do. We will be providing a binder and the first section of your manual during the launch weekend. We strongly suggest you have a notebook or journal that is just for this training.
The reading list can be daunting; please don’t feel like you have to rush out and purchase all of the books OR read them all cover to cover. We do require The Spiritual Science of Kriya Yoga by Goswami Kriyananda; The Heart of Yoga by T.K.V. Desikachar; and Rodney Yee’s Moving Towards Balance Specific reading segments will be assigned; you will make friends quickly and can share books as needed. We have a limited borrowing library of books donated from past graduates, so feel free to inquire.
