Dawnbee began practicing yoga in 2019. Although she had taken classes before, this time was different. Her practice quickly began to deepen as she realized that yoga gave her space to be in awe of the body, and to calm an anxious mind. For her, yoga has brought deep healing and connection in multiple aspects of life. Yoga allows you to deeply tune into your entire body (physical and spiritual), what is it asking for in this moment? Let your intuition be your guide! Yoga has given her the courage to surrender, the power to sustain, and the confidence to step into her truth.

Dawnbee has completed a 200 hour training with In Balance Yoga and is currently attending another training, focusing on anti-racism in the wellness industry. She is also a certified Reiki and Breathwork practitioner. Her goal as a yoga teacher is to create a safe container for her students, because yoga is for everyone.

Dawnbee describes herself as an extroverted introvert and free spirit. When she’s not offering healing or teaching yoga, she enjoys spending time with her partner Alex, their 4 dogs, 2 cats, and 6 chickens. Her hobbies include traveling, reading, dabbling in kitchen witch-ery, and riding her motorcycle on the Blue Ridge Parkway.
